William Howard Ward 84, of Enos, Okla. passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at his home in Enos. He was born on July 7, 1936 in Kingston, Okla. to the late Houston Ward and Marie Bearden Ward. William was raised in Kingston where he attended school and he later moved to Toledo, Ore. where he met the love of his life.

He married Mona Beanblosson on December 31, 1957 in Corvallis, Ore. William joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany where he fell in love with the country and the people. He retired from Roseburg Forrest Products in Roseburg, Oreg. and moved to Enos to pursue his dream of owning his own business, Bill’s Lakeside Club in Enos.

William was devoted to his wife and children. He worked tirelessly to ensure the success of his family. William loved working with electronics and always enjoyed a challenge.

He is survived by his wife Mona Ward of Enos, Okla., his children; Dean Ward and wife LaVeta of Kingston, Okla., Curtis Ward and wife Nancy of Auburn, Calif., Vonnie Russell and fiancé Kenny Sturgill of Kingston, Okla., 11 Grandchildren; Joshua Ward, Summer Navatta, Tyler Ward, Travis Ward, Jodi Love, Nichole, Russell, Tyna Welch, Justin Russell, Christina Allen, Crystal Kuykendall, and Candace Forsberg, 23 Great Grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Darryl Ward and Harold Ward, three sisters; Francis Baker, Oteka Harris and Betty Ellis.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla. Services are pending. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
