Sherri Ann Stewart, 70, passed away on November 18. She was born on September 29, 1953, in Madill, Okla. to Kenneth Burris and Waynette Graves.

Sherri attended and graduated from KingstonHighSchoolin1971.Aftergraduation, Sherri attended Robert’s Beauty Training Center in Tulsa, Okla. Sheri married the love of her life, Alvin Stewart on December 4, 1971, in Madill, Okla.

Sherri lived in Marshall County her entire life where she and Alivn raised three children, Alvin Jr., Tasha and Heath. Sherri and Alivn loved and helped raise seven grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Sherri faithfully attended Willis Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, worked in the nursery, served on multiple boards, and taught children’s church. She enjoyed playing golf, watching the Kingston Redskins, and spending time with her sisters and family. Sherri was a beautician, doing hair for 52 years. She never missed an event that involved her children or grandchildren. She attended as many events as possible for nieces and nephews, as well as events in the community.

Sherri dearly loved her family and friends, she treated everyone as if they were her own. She was a wonderful representation of God’s love, a role model, an inspiration, and a hero to many. She blessed everyone that she came into contact with and was a bright light in the community. She touched so many lives, to know her was to love and be loved by her.

Sherri was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Waynette and sister, Sheila.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Alvin; children, Alvin Stewart Jr., Tasha and husband James Mc-Cuan, Heath Stewart; grandchildren, Alivia and husband Joshua Gonzalez, Stewart and husband Trey Haggerty, Xavier McCuan, Kiefer and wife Nikki Stewart, Ethel “Millie” Stewart, Kaden Stewart, Taylin Stewart; greatgrandchildren, Shiloh and Simon; sisters and brothers in law, Rita and Mark Roberts, Lori and Michael Forguson, Yolonda and Doug Tyner, Leah and Mickey Rose; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Funeralservicewillbe2:00p.m.Wednesday,November 22, 2023, at the Willis Baptist Church in Willis, Okla. It will be officiated by Jerry Scott and Doug Tyner Jr. Music will be arranged by Shayla Armstrong, Buddy Tyner III, Brissa Brown, Acacia Arnold.

Interment will be at the Willis Cemetery in Willis, Okla. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
