Ronald Stewart Flowers, 76, of Kingston, Okla. passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at his home in Kingston. He was born on November 23, 1946, to the late Ona Mae Hargrove Flowers and Charles Stewart Flowers in Vernon, Texas. They moved to Lawton, Okla. when Ronnie was four.

He grew up in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School in 1965. Ronnie marriedNancyJoDuncanonMay29,1965 inLawton,Okla. Theyweremarriedfor58 years and raised two sons, Chris Stewart Flowers and James Dustin Flowers.

Ronnie owned and operated Flowers Motor Company for 37 years. In 2006, Ronnie and Nancy sold their home and business and moved to Kingston to care for his father. While in Kingston, Ronnie owned and operated a boat storage business. He was a proud grandfather to Christen Ali Flowers of Boston, Mass., James Dustin Flower of Kingston, and Rustin Hammer Flowers of Norman, Okla.

Over the years, Ronnie built several hot rods. He was an automotive enthusiast and loved all forms of auto racing. Ronnie loved to fish, and went on several fishing adventures with his buddies. One of his favorite vacation destinations was Red River, NM.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kay Flowers.

The Flowers family would like to extend their gratitude to Thomas Savage and Tracy Hogan of Victory Home Health for the care and comfort they provided for Ronnie over the past few weeks.
