Marvin Lee Carroll 84, of Kingston, Okla. passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. He was born on September 16, 1936 in Farview, Okla. to the late Marvin Lester Carroll and Bessie Aunita Young Carroll. Marvin was raised in Fairview where he graduated high school. He later attended one year at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Okla.

Marvin joined the United States Army and served 18 months in Germany and later served for the National Guard Army for four years. He married Barbara June

Stafford on July 5, 1959 in Broken Arrow, Okla. and she preceded him in death on May 12, 2017. Marvin worked for Bama Pie Company in Tulsa, Okla.before moving to Okemah, Okla. where he started working for the State of Oklahoma Highway department. Marvin later transferred to Madill where he continued working for the State Highway department in surveying and later to maintenance until he retired in 2000. He was a member of the Open Range Cowboy Church and he enjoyed fishing, watching old westerns and working puzzle books.

He is survived by his son Robert Carroll and wife Amanda of Kingston, Okla., his grandchildren; Brookelynn D. Carroll of Durant, Okla., Haley Marie Carroll of Kingston, Okla., Brian D. Carroll of Kingston, Okla., and brother Wayne Carroll of Kinston, Okla.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two daughters: Dana Sue Sherwood and Deborah Kay Carroll, and brother; John Carroll.

Visitation will be Friday, November 27 from 10 am to 9 pm and a family hour from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla.

Service will be Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla. Kendall Whitehead will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, Okla. Services pending. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla.
