Johnny Lester Bargas, 88, of Madill, Okla. passed away on April 19, 2020 at his son’s home in Madill. He was born on March 8, 1932 in Gowen, Okla. to the late Messimiano Bargas and Minnie Sarina Bargas.

Johnny was raised in Gowen where he graduated from high school. After graduation, he joined the United States Army and served for several years before moving back home.

Johnny married Frances Margaret Robinson on December 2, 1965 in Tulsa, Okla. and she preceded him in death on June 17, 2000.

In 1978 Johnny moved to Kingston and worked for the water plant and later worked as a security guard at the Oak Ridge Estates in Kingston. He was an avid cat fisherman, bow fisherman and bow hunter. Johnny loved playing his guitar and he was a knife enthusiast.

He is survived by his children; John Thomas Bargas, and wife Cindy of Yukon, Okla., Tim Santino of Ravia, Okla., Chano Bargas and wife Barbara of Madill, Okla., Tommye Rhoades of Madill, Okla.; 16 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three sons; James Bargas, Bob Santino, and Bill Santino, and two brothers; Jimmy and Dave Bargas.

Casket Bearers are Tim Santino, Mikey Bargas, John Thomas Bargas, Donny Bargas, Johnny Bargas and Chano Bargas.

Honorary Bearers are Wayne Santino, Roy Sanino, Dave Bargas Jr., Tobias Bargas, Donny Santino and Tommye Rhoades.
