Floyd Winston Hook Jr., 65, of Kingston, Okla. passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at his home in Fobb. He was born on March 10, 1958, in Madill to the late Floyd Winston Hook Sr. and Eloice Cleo Cryer Hook.

Winston attended all 12 years of school at Kingston,graduating in1976 and wasa member of the Kingston Alumni Association. He lived his entire life in the Willis and Fobb area working on the farms of DeeKeeton,LawrenceHenryandAudeen Jeffrey. Winston also worked for Weber Aircraft from 1989 till 1991, Marshall County Conservation District from 1997 to 2014, USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service from 1997 to 2014. Retiring in 2014 due to medical reasons. He later owned Uncle Winky Lawn Service.

Winston was a rich man knowing the value of family and friends, he always said “Family was what life is all about”. Winston always had a smile on his face, a huge heart full of love and would do anything for anyone. He loved planting in the garden, raising watermelons and cantaloupe. The love of his life was named “Blue”. She was so much more than a dog; she was his child, his companion, she was his best friend.

Winston was preceded in death by his parents and sister in-law, Carol Hook.

Winston is survived by his sisters, Barbara Teeter and husband Fred of Fobb, Okla., Sharon Hudgens and husband Jack of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Bill Hook of Alvarado, Texas; nieces and nephews, Mindy Conner, Michael and wife Melissa Ferguson, Harlie and husband Joshua Reeves, Haylie and husband Jordan Tabor, Wayne and wife Teresa Hook, Amber and husband Denzel Lewis, Megan,andhusbandBlaineAkers,JasonandwifeMichelle Hudgens; great nieces and nephews and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Oklahoma. Chris Webb and Matt Howell will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Willis Cemetery, Willis, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.

Casket Bearers were Robby Henry, Lonny Henry, Cameron Keeton, Chubby McGahey, Colin Howell and Matt Howell.

Honorary Bearers were Bud Lollis, Vent Lollis, Laney Lollis and Richard Page.
