The Madill First Methodist Church invites everyone to a day of fantastic Christmas shopping and scrumptious meals. The 61th Annual Zelma Bazaar “Angels on High” event will be held on November 2, at the First Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, from 7:00 a.m.. to 7:00 p.m. at 301 West Talifaferro.
Doors will open at 7:00 a.m. with a breakfast bar which will include breads, muffins, sausage balls, coffee cake, breakfast hors d’oeuvres, fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, breakfast casserole, coffee, and orange juice. Cost of the breakfast bar is a donation to the Bazaar.
Booths will include Christmas, stitchery, tasty treats, plants and woodworking items.
The baked potato lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Baked potatoes will be served will all the fixings, salad, with a selection of delectable homemade cakes along with tea and coffee. Lunch take-outs are available by calling 795-3568 the day of the luncheon or come by the day of the bazaar and pick up a baked potato to take home. Tickets for the baked potato luncheon are $10.
A turkey dinner with all the trimmings, will be served from 5:00 p.m. to 7: 00p.m.inthechurchFellowship Hall. The menu is turkey, dressing, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry salad, rolls, fabulous fruit, pumpkin or pecan pie along with tea and coffee. Take-outs are available by calling 795-3568 or come by the day of the bazaar and pick up a dinner to take home. Tickets for the turkey dinner are $15, with children under eight tickets being $10.
Come and enjoy a great meal and Christmas shopping at the Zelma Bazaar. Proceeds from the event will be used for Books for Madill Kindergarten students, Hope for Marshall County, Santa’s Elves, Bread of Life, Southeastern Oklahoma State University Methodist Student Center, East Central State University Methodist Student Center, local mission teams, state and national mission projects.
