Eli Vinson, a Madill High School student, had the opportunity to participate in the House Page Program, sponsored by House Representative Josh Cantrell. Vinson said his favorite part of the program was meeting the representatives and learning about how the government worked. He highlighted the sense of responsibility he was entrusted with while assisting the representatives with various tasks.

Cantrell shed light on why he chose Vinson for the program. He said the student’s father had reached out to him requesting a letter of recommendation for his application to the Naval Academy.
