On October 29 at 6:30 p.m., there will be a special meeting of the Texoma Fire District Board at the Training Center. The meeting will be to discuss the Title 19 board members and their length of office. All members of this fire district are invited to attend.
Texoma Fire District is still accepting new volunteer firefighters, all adults, male or female, who are members of the Texoma Fire District are more than welcome to join. If you are interested in joining the Texoma Volunteer Fire Department, contact Chief Todd Cissell at (580) 565- 4491. You can also pickup an application from the mailbox at the station, fill it out and return to the station. Chief Cissell will contact you. Everyone is welcome, so consider joining! The fire department truly needs your support.
Before burning check for wind, DO NOT BURN if windy, and contact the Sheriff’s office at (580) 795-2221 and let them know you will be doing a control burn.
On November 5 at 6:30 p.m., the Texoma Fire District Board of Directors will meet at the TFD Training Center. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
The Lighthouse United Methodist Church Teens meet on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. All teenagers in the area are welcome to attend.
