First United Bank starts Pillar Academy

FirstUnitedBankproudly announces the successful launch of the First United Bank Pillar Academy, an innovativeYouthLeadership Programaimedatimmersing students in the principles of Spend Life Wisely. With a strong commitment to community impact and empowering the next generation, First United Bank’s Pillar Academy will provide reallife resources through its four pillars to ten juniors from Madill and Kingston high schools.

The Pillar Academy program encompasses First United Bank's core pillars. Through Personal Growth, students are provided with the tools to explore and develop their individual strengths. The Financial Well-Being session offers guidance to ensure a solid foundation in money management, credit, and financial literacy as students transition into the next chapter of their lives. The Faith Pillar session will share ways to seek God and be inspired to live a life of meaning and purpose, to serve other with love and compassion. The Health and Wellness session will promote the development of healthyhabits,bothmentally and physically, as students step into adulthood.

In addition to fostering an environment of serving others, Pillar Academy students will actively engage in community service initiatives. As part of the program, students will initiate a project on their school campus and community for United Acts of KindnessDay.Throughthese experiences, students can develop essential life skills but also embody the spirit of giving back to others.
