Alliance Health Madill held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony/Grand Opening on June 22, 2021, for their new expansion.
Alliance Health Madill provides general and acute health care and hospital services to individuals and families in Marshall County. The hospital currently offers several services which include the emergency room, inpatient and outpatient services, physical and respiratory therapy, radiology, skilled nursing, along with swing bed.
The hospital is made up of several different connected areas. Some sections of the hospital were built in the 60s, the 80s, and even 2021. They have been working on the new expansion the last few years and trying to make sure all sections connect seamlessly.
The grand opening showcased the new expansion which consisted of fourteen spacious rooms. Eleven of the rooms are semiprivate and three private rooms. It also included an activities room for the long-term patients and family members, an exam room, a bariatric room for patients that includes a lift, an isolation room with two doors that operate as an airlock with interlocking doors, and a private room that will include a Murphy bed for guests. The bed was donated by the Little family from Marshall County.
The hospital can be better prepared now, to handle medical complications. The providers and hospital staff are committed to the community and patients. They said they are excited to offer direct quality health care to the people of this community as well as hiring and offering nursing jobs.
