At18yearsold,thejourney of Kaylee McIntosh unfolds with a loving family by her side. She said her parents, RoySpurgeonandKimberlee McIntosh Mihok, her grandparents, Vera McIntosh and James McIntosh, and her brother, Wyatt Mihok, along with her sister-in-law, Ana Mihok, have been pillars of support throughout her life.

She has attended Madill Public Schools her entire school career. She said that one aspect of her school life that has brought her immense joy and fulfillment is her participation in soccer. The soccer field has become her second home, a place where she has honed her skills, built lasting friendships, and experienced unforgettable moments.

McIntosh said that amongstthecountlessmemories she has made on the soccer field, one stands out as her favorite - the alumni game. The excitement of playing alongside former teammates and witnessing the support of past players left an indelible mark on herheart.

McIntosh said her brother has been her constant source of inspiration in the realm of sports. Witnessing his dedication, skill, and determination on the field ignited a fire within her to push herself beyond her limits.

While her brother fueled her passion for sports, her grandmother became her guiding light in life. McIntosh said she admires her grandmother’s strength, wisdom, and unwavering love. Vera’s words of encouragement and belief in Kaylee’s potential have instilled within her the confidence to pursue her dreams.

Expressing her gratitude, McIntosh extended her heartfelt thanks to her coaches for their unwavering presence and support throughout her soccer journey. Their guidance and belief in the team’s abilities have played a pivotal role in her success, especially during her remarkable senior year. In addition to her coaches, she acknowledged her brother and sister-in-law for their unwavering support and dedication. They have been instrumental in shaping her into the person she is today, providing guidance, love, and a nurturing environment.

Looking ahead, McIntosh has set her sights on attending East Central University topursueadegreeincriminal justice. Her passion for justice and the desire to make a positive impact on society fueled her decision.

As she prepares to embark on this new chapter, McIntosh had a few words of wisdomforheryoungerclassmates. She advised them to embrace hard work, as it is the key to unlocking one’s true potential.
