The Madill Alumni Association, celebrating its 90th birthday this year, holds a banquet annually to bring together former students of Madill High School. Established in 1934, the association has been organizing this event every year, except during World War II when many men were away at war.

A pre-kindergarten enrollment and screening has been scheduled for May 20-23, 2024 at the Madill Early Childhood Center. This is for children that willturn4yearsoldonorbefore September 1, 2024. Appointments can be made by calling the Early Childhood Center at 580-795-3303, option 1.

May 24, 2024, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the June Primary Election. Persons who are United States Citizens, residents of Oklahoma, and at least 17½ years old are eligible to apply for voter registration.

Marietta, Okla.— The Love County Health Department (LCHD) was directly affected by Saturday night’s storms and is currently closed. There is no timeline for when the building will reopen. Clients are being directed to the Carter or Marshall County Health Departments.
