Tell us about your background and experience

district my entire life and have a heart dedicated to serve this community. My career with Marshall County Commissioners began with Josh Cantrell before he was elected to the District #49 House of Representatives. My credentials include CDL driver license and experience with road construction being employed with Overland Construction, I have knowledge to operate all equipment on site at the district barn,includingmaintenance, along with lifetime of welding experience. It was a honor receiving another offered position to serve Marshall County through Chris Duroy District #3 and currently employedservingtheDistrict #3 residents.

Why do you think you are the most qualified for the position of County Commissioner for District #2?

The reason feel the most qualified for the position of County Commissioner District #2 is because have experience with people and understand working on a board of commissioners to better inform the people of Marshall County. I want to be that leader as your county commissioner to get the work done.

What experience do you have in writing grants and preparing budgets?

The experience of writing grants involves researching grants through learning center to see grants available within our area and experience to prepare budgets have beensomethingtaughtallmy lifetime and know to always prepare for a rainy day. I do look forward to attending all the country commissioners classes to learn their programs.

If new resources were available what is one area of district #2 do you think would most benefit from additional resources?

If new resources were available within District #2 the one area feel that would most benefit from additional resources would be Pettijohn Springs Road this is one of the largest projects that has been neglected and is a major road flowing with a large community and we have the Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp at the end of this road.

Do you think it is better to have more county employees at a modest wage or few employees at a wage high enough to attract quality applicants?

I believe it is better to have a smaller group of qualified employees and pay a decent living wage than a group of employees running around not getting anything accomplished.

What do you think about the proposed sand mine off of highway 70 at Simpson Road? Is this a concern or something beneficial?

The community needs to trust the state officials to do their job.
