Madill Golf not putting for state

The Madill High School girls golf team attended Regionals on April 27, 2021 at the Jimmie Austin golf course. Head Coach Jennifer Rushing cited the poor conditions for not qualifying for state.

“We didn’t qualify for state,” said Rushing. “We battled wind, snakes and not the best of course conditions.”

Kellanie Lowe led the team with a score 110. Abby Zang scored 119. Jaelen Williams scored 121. Belen Moreno scored 140. Saman tha Salinas scored 146.

Rushing said she learned quite a bit in her first season as the Madill Girls Golf Head Coach.

“My first season as head coach is over and I learned so much these last two months,” said Rushing.
