Lexi Diaz is a senior at the Madill High School, and a part of the Madill High School Marching Band and Symphonic Band. She has attended the Madill public schools since first grade.
She is the daughter of Tino and Brittany Diaz, her two very proud parents, along with a younger brother in middle school by the name of Jaxon.
Diaz has been a member of the band since sixth grade. She has played trumpet throughout her entire band experience – as well as the French horn during concert season throughout high school. In 2020, she and her fellow band members made it to state.

“I don’t have a specific favorite memory, but the bus rides to and from band competitions are always so much fun,” she said. “I would like to thank my band directors for putting up with me and the rest of my grade for how long we’ve been in band.”
She advised her underclassmen to take the time to smell the roses. “Have fun, it goes by fast,”

After high school, Lexi plans on attending college and majoring in either design or film.
