The Farmers to Families Food Box Program was designed to help put American farmers and distributors back to work while supporting over-burdened food banks and non-profit organizations like HOPE for Marshall County Food Pantry in Madill, OK.

September 17 at 1:00 p.m., there will be a truck parked on the side of the Marshall County Health Department on 310 West Lillie, Madill, Okla. The truck will filled with food to help families of Marshall County in need.

They are asking for cars to line up on Overton Street and they will be directed by the local fire department. To make things flow faster, they are asking people to mention how many families they are picking up for and will load cars accordingly.

This was graciously sponsored by First United Bank and the Hope For Marshall County Food Pantry Inc. in Madill. This event is going to be a once a month opportunity for those in our community to receive food to help feed their family.

Helping feed people in the community is more than simply providing food, it is about providing wellness, nourishment, and strength to those who are in need.
