Disney’s multimedia release of the classic villainess Cruella has made movie goers rethink their opinion of the two-toned hair, dog knapping, evil fashionista. This origin story takes place in the 1970s London and stars Emma Stone and Emma Thompson.
Stone’s portrayal of Cruella takes the audience on a wild ride of action with her punk rock style of wardrobe as she battles Thompson’s character, The Baroness, in a war on the fashion runway. The array of outfits and costumes along with a killer soundtrack, will keep the interest of most movie goers.
Cruella is a rated PG13, and rotten tomatoes gave this movie a 74% among movie critics and a whopping 97% audience score. The creators of Cruella have deliciously breathed life into the sixty-year-old animated story, 101 Dalmatians, and gave a whole new generation a peek into a story that will easily go another sixty years and longer.
