Choctaw Nation closes public offices

DURANT, Okla. - The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma will be closing its administrative offices and community centers to the public as well as enacting broader work-from-home measures on March 24 to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Choctaw Nation will continue to provide resources to tribal members and prioritize Healthcare, Emergency Services, Food Distribution, Senior Nutrition, LIHEAP and other critical member services. Tribal members may experience interruptions and delays to some tribal services during this time.

Choctaw Nation Travel Plazas, Country Markets and Chili’s restaurants will continue modified operations to provide food, other life essential items and services, and support the transportation infrastructure for our tribal members and communities.

Choctaw Nation community centers will continue Senior Nutrition curbside meal service and have a field service representative available for tribal members each Wednesday.
