I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving Holiday. I have noticed that quite a few have already decorated for Christmas.
I believe the festive decorations and lights help to bring us to a calmer place during this chaotic uncertainty that we are living in at the moment.
The “Light up the Marina” event drew quite a few people that dared to venture out with the rain in the forecast, although the weather held out for the entirety.
Thanks to everyone that came out to enjoy the Hot Dogs, fire and the lights. We hope to draw more and more each year!
The Buncombe Babes Red Hat group will be enjoying their monthly outing at the Panaderia Villegas Restaurant in Durant on Friday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m.. It is the first Friday of each month that the ladies join together for lunch and catch up on the current events.
Remember that LaJeanne’s Plants N Things, along with the Firefly Art Festival, will be coordinating the Christmas Festival that will be held the first three weekends in December.
The raffle drawing for the Enos Christmas for Kids will be held following the Enos Community Christmas Parade that starts on Saturday, December 12 at 1:00 ..pm. Raffle will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the festival.
Be sure to swing by on a Saturday and bring the kids for pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus along with a wide range of arts/crafts and other activities. Have a good week.
