Snowflakes have found their way to Buncombe Creek, along with the cold temps and wind flurries, burrrrr! Hope you are all staying warm! Be sure to reach out to someone if you have a need for heaters, blankets, etc. We will take care of each other!

The Buncombe Creek Ladies Auxiliary has postponed their monthly meeting until the following Tuesday, February 23, 202,1 in hopes the weather will warm up a bit. The discussion will center around the Bake Sale which will coincide with the “Burning of the Socks” to be held on March 13, 2021 at the BC Marina parking area. Bring a potluck dish and a smile.

The marina store had a little mishap on Sunday, February 14, 2021 when their air compressor exploded and did some damage to the building and office. Repairs are underway, but the store will be closed for a few days.

The Texoma Southern Baptist Church will again open their doors for the “Open Arms Clothes Closet” on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Everyone is welcome.

We will have several raffles happening this summer to help with fundraisers for various groups and charities. More information to follow.
