Madill, OK — March 31, 2020 — Marshall County Abstract Company, a real estate closing and title insurance agency, is adapting the real estate closing experience to ensure homebuyers can continue to purchase and close on their new home.

Despite the closure of county records offices and other COVID-19 safety issues around the country, the Marshall County Abstract Company’s office is still open and operational.

Though the local Marshall County Courthouse is closed to the public, the recording office is still operating and accepting new files from us.

“We’ve been deemed an essential service during this pandemic and we certainly believe helping local homebuyers close on their new homes is an essential part of our community,” said Herschel Beard, owner of Marshall County Abstract Company. “Many of these homebuyers already have moving vans scheduled, selected new paint colors for bedrooms and boxed up their most precious belongings. Buying a home is the largest investment in their lives and during a crisis like this, our customers deserve continuity of our business and peace of mind that their transaction will continue without issue.”

Customers can still conduct their closings in person or by mail. Our Marshall County Abstract Company team can also help with refinanced mortgages.

Whetherit’s to liquify assets or to simply take advantage of historically low interest rates, now is a great time for a refinance.

Marshall County Abstract Company is celebrating its 100th year in business in 2020. Four generations of the Beard family who have proudly owned and worked in the company, and the entire team is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity in each interaction with their customers and community.
