The Kingston Lady Redskins Fastpitch Softball met the Comanche Indians on the diamond on September 25. The Lady Redskins claimed a win during the Friday night game.

The sixth inning was a memorable one for the girls. Kingston garnered three runs during that inning thanks to an error on a ball put into play by sophomore Lanie French, #4, and a double by senior Blaklyn Barber, #15.

The pitcher in the spotlight for the night was Barber. She surrendered only three runs on eight hits over seven innings; striking out four batters.

The Lady Redskins played well and managed a 6-3 win. They racked up nine total hits for the entire game. Junir Bri Harkins, #42, and Barber both collected multiple hits, and Harkins made the most plays with six. According to Game Changer, “Kingston Lady Redskins Varsity was surehanded and didn’t commit a single error.”
