Jensen Fullingim is a musically talented senior at the Madill High School. She is the daughter of James and Jennifer Fullingim and sibling to Jaylee Fullingim. She has attended Madill public schools since pre-k.

Fullingim has been in the band since sixth grade. She plays the trombone for marching band and jazz band. She has had the honor of playing a solo in the marching show this year as a senior. Over the years, she has won SEOBDA and SCOBDA honor band, as well as a superior rating at regional marching contest junior and senior year. She said she considers the latter to be her favorite memory of high school.

Fullingim said that she is thankful for the band directors and the amazing work they have done with the band.

“They have built the band up over the years to something incredibly amazing and I’ve gotten to be a part of it.”

She said she is also thankful for her parents’ support.

“I’d like to thank my parents for always being there for me,” Fullingim said. “I am forever grateful and appreciative.”

After high school, Fullingim said she plans to attend cosmetology school and become a hairdresser.

Her advice for the younger classmates is, “to always just be yourself.”
