Tommy Curtis McClendon 52, of Madill, Okla. passed from this earth on Saturday, August 29, 2020. He was born on March 26, 1968 in Madill to Thomas McClendon and Pearl Moss McClendon. Tommy was raised in Durant, Okla., and Madill where he attended school and played football. He later lived in Ozark, Arkansas and Stone Wall, Okla. before moving back to Madill where he lived the rest of his life. Tommy enjoyed playing baseball, hunting, fishing, and going golfing.
He is survived by his father Thomas McClendon of Madill, Okla., his children; Christopher McClendon of Edmond, Okla., Amber Roniger and husband Johnathan of Broken Arrow, Okla., one granddaughter Caitlyn McClendon, three brothers; James McGlocklin and wife Deidra of Madill, Okla., Danny McClendon and wife Christie of Ravia, Okla., Kacey McClendon of Bartlesville, Okla., and one sister Vesti Langston of Colbert, Okla.
Tommy was preceded in death by his mother; Pearl McClendon and one brother; Timothy McClendon.
Service will be Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oakview Baptist Church in Oakland, Okla. Clayton VanWinkle and John Moss will officiate the service.
