Larry Ben Nations, 78, of Wapanucka, Okla. passed away on April 28, 2020 at his home in Wapanucka. He was born on June 7, 1941 in Brown County, Texas to the late Marvin Nations and Mary Staggs Nations. Larry was raised in Brown County and later served a short time in the United States Air Force.

He married Brenda Lynn White on December 28, 1960 in Burkburnett, Texas and she preceded him in death on October 19, 2012. He was self-employed working in the construction business all his life.

He lived in Abilene and Burkburnett before moving to the Lake Texoma area in 1990. In 2007, he moved to Wapanucka to be with his son.

Larry served as a volunteer fire fighter in Texas and Caney Soldier Creek. He enjoyed building wood crafts, fishing, and playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Barry Keith Nations, Joshua T. Nations and wife Kalie, and Tammy Sue Nations, grandchildren; Robert Wayne Myers, Wayne McGee, Ben Watson, Tara Watson, Chelsea Nixon and Jessica Guerro, great grandchildren; Wyatt and Lexi Nation, Macy, Roxi and Falynn Nations, his sisters; Lydia, Lela, Lora, Linnie, Alice, Dorthy, Carma and Ruby.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter, Maecy Lynn Nation, one granddaughter; Rowdy Nichole Fikes, one brother and several sisters.
