Jackie Sue Palmer, 76 of Kingston, Okla. passed away on December 24, 2020 at the hospital in Madill, Okla. She was born on September 3, 1944 in Madill to the late John Carlton Jr. and Irene McAlester Carlton. Jackie was raised in Arlington, Texas where she attended school.
She worked for General Motors and later received her real estate licenses working in real estate. Jackie married Victor Paul Palmer in 1974 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was affiliated with the Baptist faith and she enjoyed watching TV, playing games on the I-Pad and taking care of her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband Victor Palmer of Kingston, Okla., her children; Nick Norrid and wife Jessica of Ardmore, Okla., Steve Norrid of Texas, Tim Palmer of Mead, Okla., Mark Campbell of Oklahoma, and Carla Palmer of Texas, 16 grandchildren, brother Mike Apala, Texas, sisters; Annette Holt of Texas, and Lee Graham of Madill, Okla.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister; Melba Apala.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla.
Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla.
Chris Webb will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Willis Cemetery in Willis, Okla. Service will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
Casket Bearers will be Tim Palmer, David Palmer, Travis Norrid, Nick Norrid, Jack Palmer, and Kirby Langford.
