Donald Eugene Evans 50, of Kingston, Okla. died Wednesday, August 19 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas from complications with his 10 year battle with Cancer, which he fought valiantly up till his last breath. He was born on October 3, 1969 in El Paso, Texas to the late James Barber Evans Sr. and Hazel Ilene Evans.

Donald was raised in Kingston and graduated from Kingston High School in 1988. He joined the United States Marines and served during Desert Storm where he received the National Defense Service Medal and Sea Service Deployment ribbon. Donald received an Honorable Discharge and the rank of Lance Corporal.

Donald later attended S.O.S.U. in Durant, Okla. In 2000, he became owner of D&M Express trucking company, which little did he know would lead him to Tina. Donald married Tina Marie Black on February 23, 2008 in Madill. He and Tina owned and operated Twister Transport since 2015 living in Fort Worth and Kingston.

Donald was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Madill. When Donald wasn’t working hard, he played hard. He enjoyed camping, riding his Harley, and traveling which he loved doing alongside Tina and their fur baby Gracie Renee.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Evans of Fort Worth, Texas, his brothers; James (Jimmy) Evans Jr., Kingston, Okla., Douglas Evans, Vancouver, Wash., his sisters; Shirley Elsey Cook of El Paso, Texas, Karen Waggoner of Albuquerque, N.M., nieces; Sara, Audra, Danielle, Lilly, Paige and Lorelei, and his nephews; Alan and David.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and greatnephew Mason Evans

Visitation was held Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Service was Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m., August 26, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Madill, Okla. Don Ross and Colin Conner officiated the service. Interment was held at the Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.

Casket Bearers were Kevin Black, William Basinger, Greg Morris, Bobby Southard, Jodie Minter, and Cliff Cook.

Honorary Casket Bearers were Alan Elsey, and David Elsey.

Military Honors were by the United States Marine Honor Guard.
