The quick actions of a Marshall County Deputy resulted in Ricky James, Breanna Rahmings, and Quincell Rahmings’ arrests. In the evening hours of January 7, 2021, the Chickasaw Light Horse Police Department notified the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office about a robbery that had recently occurred.
A person had recently been robbed at the Megastar Casino, and they were currently searching for the suspects. LHPD gave MCSO a description of the vehicle, and Marshall County Deputy Kasey Cox flew into action.
Due to his speedy response to the call, he was able to locate the vehicle on Highway 377, approximately five miles north of the casino grounds.
Cox initiated the traffic stop and detained the suspects until LHPD arrived on scene. The suspects were then interviewed by LHPD and subsequently arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail.
James, a 19-year-old male from Madill is being charged with Possession of CDS without a Valid Prescription, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Inattentive Driving, Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Attempted Robbery, and Altering the Serial Number on a Firearm.
Even though an online search shows he has no prior Oklahoma convictions, he is also currently facing charges for Assault and Battery, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Breanna Rahmings, a female from Madill with an unknown age, is facing charges for Possession of Marijuana without a Valid Prescription and Altering the Serial Number on a Firearm. No priors were found in an online search.
Quincell Rahmings, a 26-year-old male from Madill is currently facing charges for Bringing Contraband into a Jail/Penal Institution. An online search found prior Oklahoma convictions for Possession of Marijuana, Breaking and Entering a Building without Permission, False Declaration of Ownership at a Pawn Shop, Possession of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Marshall County Sheriff Donald Yow said he, along with the sheriff’s office, values the relationship between them and LHPD.
“The Marshall County Sheriff’s office appreciates the working relationship between our agencies and look forward to our working relationship in the future,” Yow stated in a press release.
