The TFD Auxiliary met on August 21,2023 for the monthly meeting. Michele Moore from Gecko’s Restaurant was our guest speaker.
There were 22 members present and all recited the Pledge of Allegiance. The Humorous reading was given by Sandy Bumgarner.
We welcomed new guests: Ronda Mandrell, Leah Robinson and Kittie’s daughter, Terri Timpe.
Announcements:Thesign honoring Jere Zimmerman has been made and will be dedicated at the Texoma Fire District Board Meeting and will be displayed at Fire StationNo.1.TheDoorPrize was won by Becca Price.
Membership:SheilaSikes states that renewals will go out soon so look for them to come in the mail.
Liason to TFD: Becca Price reported that there were 21 EMR and seven fires for July.

The next TFD Auxiliary meeting will occur on September 18, 2023. Our 2nd annual Spaghetti Dinner will occur on September 16, 2023.
The Texoma Fire District Board of Directors meets the first Thursday of the Month at the Training/Community Center located at 10978 Parkview at 6:30 p.m.
The next meeting will be September 7. All are welcome to attend. The Exercise/Stretching classes are on Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. Cards/Games are on the second and fourth Tuesday at 12:40 p.m. Auxiliary members are welcome to join in the fun.
For anybody interested in rentingtheTexomaCommunity Building,ContactGayla Freeman at 580-565-4043. She will get right back with you. The cost is $75 per day and they must be a member of the Texoma Fire District to rent the building. Capacity for the building is 158.
The Lighthouse Methodist Church located at 4923 AlbertaCreekRoadprovides an evening meal from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Lighthouse Kids Program for grade school children consisting of Bible stories, crafts and games is held each Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. prior to the meal.
