Leon Lee, 84-year-old from Powell, Okla. Shelling pink eye purple hull peas. He has canned 165 pints with the assistance of his daughter, Lou Lee. His daughters Julie Mangrum, and Nelsene Green, grandkids; Chris and Misty Bridenstine, Kim Parham, and Clayton Bridenstine, great grandkids; Ashlyn Bridenstine, Braelan and Riley Bridenstine, and great great granddaughter daughter Olivia all help Lee pick, shell and can the peas.
