KPMC host inaugural Patriotic Pride Parade

Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July.

The TFD Auxiliary met June 19,2023 with 16 members present with all reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. The Humorous reading was gi Jeannie Daffern. Kittie Norris won the door prize.

Nancy Allison was recognized for her decoration of the building for the Pile On. Lisa Leclerc was busy last month with birthday, get well and condolencecardstomembers. Becca Price reported that the Fire Department had eight emergency responses , three crashes and three fires last month.

The phone number for scheduling rental is changing from Gayla Freeman’s personal phone number to the Auxiliary phone number which is 580-564-1400. The phone is checked twice weekly. Please leave a detailed message and one of the ladies will return your call.

Leclerc and Freeman’s birthdays were celebrated with a song and a gift.

The Auxiliary meets the third Monday at 1:30 p.m. with a social gathering preceding the meeting at 1 p.m. The next meeting will occur on July 17, 2023.

The Texoma Fire District Board of Directors meets the first Thursday of the Month at the Training/Community Center located at 10978 Parkview at 6:30 p.m.

The next meeting will be June 1, 2023. All are welcome to attend.

The Exercise/Stretching classes are on Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. Cards/ Games are on the second and fourth Tuesday at 12:40 p.m. Auxiliary members are welcome to join in the fun.

For anybody interested in renting the Texoma Community Building, Contact Gayla Freeman at 580-565-4043. She will get right back with you. The cost is $75 per day and they must be a member of the Texoma Fire District to rent the building.

The Lighthouse Methodist Church located at 4923 Alberta Creek Road provides an evening meal from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Lighthouse Kids Program for grade school children consisting of Bible stories, crafts and games is held each Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. prior to the meal.
