Kathy Germany, Julie Mangrum, and Susan Lewis Getchel, with Southern Oklahoma Animal Resources, hand out donations on July 16. Every Thursday, they spend all day taking care of the rescues and preparing for the couple hours they sit outside the Southern Oklahoma Animal Resource office between the Dollar Store and Spirits Liquor store in Madill. Typically, they give away cat and dog food every week and then sometimes like this week they gave away bleach, disinfectant spray, and laundry soap as well.
