The heat is on. However, it looks as though some relief from the heat is on its way this week. This is summer time in Oklahoma.
Remember to still use caution when you are working, or playing, outside. Drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks and try to do any outdoor activities early in the day. Don’t forget to tend to your outdoor pets.
Summer vacation is almost over and time for the kids to head back to the classrooms. Time to start keeping our eyes on the kids at the bus stops and watch those school zones.
It appears that there have been many thefts and attempted thefts in our community lately. Stay aware and help keep an eye on your neighbors.

There will be a fundraiser at the Kingston Family Care Center on Wednesday, July 24, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is $5 per plate and includes frito chili pie, a cookie and a drink. Come out for a great cause.
