The cooler weather rolling in reminds us that coat season is right around the corner.

The creators of Warm Up Marshall County knows that many people cannot afford a decent coat.

To ease this need, the Fourth Annual Warm Up Marshall County is in full swing.

They are asking for donations of coats, hoodies, gloves, scarfs and knit caps to distribute to Marshall County residents in need.

Cindy McKibban said that residents will probably have a greater need for coats due to the financial hardships from COVID-19.

They ask to please bring new items this year, to attempt to keep from spreading the coronavirus.

The drop-off location is Pharmacy Plus in Madill, and the collection box will be available till December 11.
