Chayton Gambel is a senior FFA student at Madill High School. He has attended Madill Public Schools since beginning school. His proud parents are Juston and Angela Gambel. He has three siblings named of Daniel, Keely, and Amara.

In 2019, Gambel was a member of the first-place state winning soil and water team for FFA. He said his biggest challenge has been keeping his grades up in school while at the same time trying to work a job and provide for himself. When it comes to inspiration, Gambel said he has a few people to thank.

“My inspiration has come from my parents and Mr. and Mrs. Harper,” Gambel noted. “They have all encouraged me in everything I’ve done in life and they’re constantly helping me along the way. I’d just like to thank them for supporting me along the way and always being there to help me whenever I’ve needed it.”

Gambel said he hasn’t fully figured out what it is he plans to do after graduation other than work. He wanted to let the underclassmen know that education is the most important thing in school.

“Keep your grades up and stay out of trouble,” Gambel advised. “Don’t try and be one of the “Cool Kids” just to blend in and be yourself.”
