Vicki Glasco is a Licensed Aesthetician, Massage Therapist and the proud owner of Blush Naturally. She has been in the industry for 12 years. She started out in Oklahoma City working at one of the most elite Spas in the area before moving to the number one Holistic Clinics in the Oklahoma City area.
Six years ago, she and her husband made the choice to leave the Oklahoma City area and move to Marshall County to help her parents. When doing so, she made the decision to open Blush Naturally so she could continue to do what she loves while providing services to the local community. She said she is astounded by the community’s support.
“It has been an amazing opportunity and the growth has surpassed my expectations,” Glasco said. “I could not ask for a kinder and more loyal group of clienteles, I have been blessed to have also found a strong group of ladies who also believe in their profession and help support the growth at Blush naturally.”
She always had a desire to help people and initially started out in the makeup industry; however, she received her education in Health Care Administration and Human Resources. This led her to work in Oklahoma City as Director of Operations and Human Resources for a large surgical group for over twenty-five years.
She continued to see so many changes in the medical profession that she decided to walk away and pursue a profession that she had only dreamed of having. She then went back to school and received her license in Esthetics and Massage Therapy which allows her to truly help people one on one.
“Having a license in both specialties allows me to combine massage into my skin care practice,” she said. “Most people think of a massage as being the most relaxing service; therefore, it is my goal to provide a unique and memorable experience for each client's satisfaction.”
From the traditions of Ayurveda skin and body treatments to the highest standards of current education, Blush provides a wide variety of services which are unique and individualized. Services such as massage therapy to skin care services and treatments, along with waxing services and customized tanning services are also offered.
“I take a lot of pride in educating my clients as well as providing exceptional service,” Glasco said. “I have always had outstanding leaders in my careers which supported me and believed in my success; therefore, I find it very rewarding by giving back through training new staff as well as educating clients.”
She suggested to anybody wishing to get into the business to be sure and do research. “Make sure you are doing it for the right reasons. Trends can come and go. You must educate yourself on the longevity and benefits of all the new services and products that are advertised daily. You must have a desire and passion to give 100% of yourself to your trade, I believe you need to have the heart of a healer.”
