Warmer temps. are here. Hopefully, water levels will not rise too much on Lake Texoma in the days ahead due to run-off.

Another holiday is soon upon us with Memorial Day fast approaching on May 25th. Remember your loved ones as well as our service men and women who have fought for our rights to freedom.

I am informed that the Texoma Southern Baptist Church will resume full activities to include a.m. snacks, Sunday School and Sunday p.m. services on June 7. Currently, regular Sunday services are being held at the church.

Buncombe Creek has lost a few of its residents these past few weeks. Betty Boecker, Elfie Muentener and Richard Ainsworth to name a few. They will be sorely missed, and I wish peace to the loved ones left behind.

Our very own Jurassic Park will be home to a few new additions by Memorial Day weekend. Be sure to take a ride or walk through the park and enjoy the sculptures. Beware the Big Foot. He is lurking in the woods waiting for unsus pecting victims.

The board appreciates those who donate for the stickers and clean up around the park.

The Kingston Graduating class of 2020 will be celebrating their graduation on Friday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Kingston Multi-purpose Activity Center and each Senior will receive 6 tickets for family members to attend in person to witness the cap andgown ceremony. It will also be shown live broadcast for those who cannot attend.

Have a safe Memorial weekend! “Be stronger than your strongest excuse”.
