Happy New Year Buncombe Creek. I hope everyone made it through the holidays healthy and safely. This next week is supposed to be low, low temps, so be prepared.
The Buncombe Creek Marina Christmas lights have been so nice to look at this past month, but it is time to put them back in storage until next year. Again, I want to thank Jack Ehmann for the put up and take down as well as keeping them lit. Also, I want to thank Tom and Karen at the Marina for the use of the electricity so we could all enjoy them.
The Shay Community Center will be hosting their monthly potluck again Thursday, January 9at 6:30 p.m. Bring something good to share and visit with your neighbors. Hope to see you there.
The Buncombe Babes Red Hat met at Boomerang’s in Madill Friday, January 3, at 11:00 a.m. and enjoyed their monthly get-together while sharing their stories of the holidays.
There is not much news to report other than Kingston Schools will be out on January 9 and 10 for Professional Day. Have a safe week.
