The days have definitely turned hot and sultry. I believe Summer is here. Stay cool and drink plenty of water when out in this heat.

The Buncombe Creek Volunteer Fire Department will hold their monthly Board Meeting at the Fire Station on June 16 at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.

There has been quite a bit of activity down in Jurassic Park these past few weeks. With the warmer weather, folks have been enjoying the beach for sunbathing, swimming and fishing. Also a few silhouette statues have been installed for the kiddos and a T-Rex will join them soon.

There has been a huge response with support coming in from various local folks and business owners as well. Lajeannes Plants & Things donated a Cypress tree that was planted near the Picnic Table for future shade, as well as Johnson Roofing for funds to help with the purchase of gravel for the roads.

The Kingston Seniors went out with a bang. The ceremony was a bit sweltering but well received. Congrats to all the Class of 2020.
