The following statment was posted on the Brookside Nursing Center’s Facebook page. It is to keep the residents from contracting COVID-19.

In the interest of preserving the health of our residents, families, and visitors we request that all non essential visits be limited at this time.

If you have traveled outside of the state to any area where COVID-19 has been identified or if you or anyone in your household has has a fever please do not visit until further notice.

We are complying with the advice of the CDC regarding the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus.

We hope everyone will understand that our concern is for the continued well-being of our community.

1. ABSOLUTELY do not enter if you have cold/flu like symptoms.

•a person can be contagious for 9-10 days prior to any symptoms, so if someone in your household is ill, please do NOT visit!

2. If you have traveled outside of the state to any area where COVID-19 has been identified or if you or anyone in your household has has a fever please do NOT visit until further notice.

3. Sanitize your hands upon entering and exiting the facility.

4. Do NOT let children under the age of 16 enter the facility.
