Funding public and higher education is the biggest responsibility that we entrust to our state and local governments. Nevertheless, Oklahoma has struggled to fund these programs to meet what’s needed for all Oklahomans to have access to a quality education -- and for our state to have a highly-skilled workforce.

Join us at the Ardmore Public Library’s Smith Room for a lunch and learn session at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, November 21, as we discuss advocacy efforts across the state to adequately fund our education system and advance evidence-based strategies to reach all Oklahoma learners.

Lunch will be provided for A.L.L. coalition members. Non-members are asked to RSVP no later than Monday, November 18, 2019, and pay $10 to cover lunch costs.

Ardmore Literacy Leadership is a sponsored project of the Dollar General Literacy is a sponsored project of the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, and is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding opportunities to increase overall literacy and opportunities for education.
