Hartman, Schulze exchange June vows

Micah Bruce Schulze and Chelsea Ana-Marie Hartman exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, June 8, 2019.

The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Umbarger, Texas, with Father Grant Spinhire and Deacon Brian Lewis giving the wedding rites.

The bride’s chosen colors of yellow and purple were carried throughout the wedding. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Megan Hartman Hubbard of Norman as her Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Karlynn Hartman Hochstein of Nazareth, Texas and Olivia Hartman Chase of Amarillo, both sisters of the bride.

Mr. Schulze chose his brother Garret Sculze, of Kingston as his best man. Groomsmen were Aaron Means of Kingston, also brother of the groom and Joel Uber of Oklahoma City, Okla., cousin of the groom.

Flower girls were Charlotte and Raelynn Hochstein, of Nazareth, Texas, nieces of the bride. Ring bearers were Bennett Hochstein of Nazareth, Texas, and Giddeon Hubbard, of Norman, Okla., both nephews of the bride.

Anna Beth Uber of Denison, Texas, cousin of the groom, was the candlelighter. Music was arranged by Michelle Correa and Lizzi Mansredi, both of Amarillo and Sarah Serna of Denver. They sang “How Beautiful.”

The bride’s gown was an elegant, floor length gown covered in lace. The ushers were Anthony Hochstein of Nazareth, Texas, Caleb Hubbard of Norman, and Ivan Chan of Amarillo, all brothers-in-law of the bride.

Following the wedding was a dinner and dance at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, hosted by the bride’s parents. The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in Canyon, Texas.

The bride’s cake was a five-tier white cake covered in beautiful, yellow roses topped off with a small sign reading “Mr. and Mrs. Schulze.”

For the groom’s table, a Dallas Cowboy theme was used with a chocolate cake and cookies. Serving at the bride’s table was Linda Aranda of Amarillo and Serena of Canyon, Texas, friends of the bride.

The groom’s table was attended by his cousins, Kari Uber of Denison, Texas and Julie Uber of Oklahoma City.

The new Mrs. Schulze is the daughter of Marvin and Leann Hartman of Umbarger, Texas. Her grandparents are Lorene Hartman of Umbarger, Texas and the late Carl Hartman, also Walter and Anita Bettinger of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Mr. Schulze is the son of Bruce and Rhonda Schulze of Kingston. His grandmother is Millie Armstrong of Kingston. Late grandparents are: Lee Roy Armstrong of Kingston and Gordon and Selah Schulze of Durant.

For their honeymoon trip, the couple took a nine-day cruise to New England and Nova Scotia, Canada. They are now at home in Canyon, Texas.

Mrs. Schulze is a second grade school teacher at St. Mary’s Cathedral School in Amarillo. Mr. Schulze has accepted an English teaching position at Hereford Preparatory Academy in Hereford, Texas.
