Hello Enos. The colder air is definitely making its arrival this week. Don’t forget about your outside pets, make sure they have warm and dry housing. Take them inside if possible. Check in on your neighbors and make certain they are keeping warm.

It is time to start getting ready for the Annual Enos Christmas Parade. The parade will be on December 7 and lineup begins at the Enos/Cardinal Cove Fire House at noon. Immediately following the parade, there will be candy, fruit sacks, cookies and hot cocoa at the Community Center, as well as Santa Claus. There will also be three drawings this year; various gift certificates, 50/50 cash drawing and a drawing for a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun. The tickets for the gift certificates and the 50/50 drawing are $1 each and available for purchase from The Enos Gateway Mall, Vonnie’s Bar, Texoma Corral and Dean’s Dispensary. The tickets for the shotgun are available for $5 each or 5 for $20 from Copperhead Motors and Vonnie’s Bar.

Don’t forget to drop off a new/unwrapped toy at the Enos Gateway Mall, Enos Dollar General or Texoma Corral for the annual Christmas for Kids toy drive.

If you are in need of assistance for the Christmas holiday, the applications for assistance are now available for pickup at The Enos Gateway Mall and the Enos/Cardinal Cove Fire House. You may call Kathy Caldwell at 580-564-5208 for more information.
