Letter to the Editor: An appreciation for local healthcare workers

Dear Editor:

I don’t know how many of you that will read this have or will have the need to use our hospital. I have had three occasions that I was in desperate need of immediate medical care. It was my misfortune to need the hospital, but was fortunate that it is here. As I’ve been here now receiving the medical care I’ve needed, yesterday, I heard the helicopter come in and leave twice and heard that a lady came in with a broken arm. These, as well as mine, were real emergencies. I hope none of you ever need our facility, but if you do, be assured your care will be fantastic. Our hospital is staffed by true heroes. Thank you to the staff and workers for my call.
