Hello Enos. Welcome to November. Sitting and watching the leaves fall from our trees is like it is snowing outside. It will be lots of work once they are all on the ground, but what a beautiful sight in the meantime. It is wonderful being able to enjoy some beautiful Fall weather for a while, before Winter decides to make another appearance.

It is time to start preparing for the Annual Christmas for Kids here in Enos. This year has been a bit different for most everyone. We need to make certain that our local kids have a wonderful Christmas experience this year. This Saturday, November 14, you can drop off donations for our Christmas for Kids items. This will be at the Enos/Cardinal Cove Firehouse, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Bring your donations of canned/dry goods and unwrapped gifts. Donations of items for all age kids are encouraged. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase during this time. Please call or text Alice Tomlinson at (541) 215-3075 with any questions.

The Annual Enos Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020. Lineup will start at noon at the Enos/ Cardinal Cove Firehouse and parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. Santa will be making an appearance. So please, decorate your ride entries and come enjoy a great day.

Firefly Art Festival is coordinating with LaJeanne’s Plants ‘IV Things to sponsor a Christmas Festival in December. This event will be held at LaJeanne’s Plants’N Things the first three weekends in December. The raffle drawing for the Enos Christmas for Kids will be held following the Enos Community Christmas Parade at 2:00 p.m. at the Christmas Festival being held at LaJeanne’s. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance during this time and there will be a full day of activities. I will have more details on this event next week.

This is a busy time for the Enos Community. Please help contribute where you can. It is much appreciated.

Have a great week, do something nice for someone and remember, “Be grateful for small things, big things and everything in between.”
