Madill, Kingston Tie In Tish Summer League

By Marshall Scott

The game’s lone umpire was stranded behind the pitcher’s circle after a ball was hit over first base. After some time, he pronounced the ball fair on a play that tied Madill and Kingston’s softball game at 4-4 in the Tishomingo Summer League. Madill started the game hot, scoring three runs in the first inning. The Lady ‘Cats took advantage of a defensive lapse from Kingston after Madill’s Kayli Sweet bunted a ball to the left of the plate.
