Alvin Lee McRavin

Alvin Lee McRavin 68, of Madill, Okla., passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, in Durant, Okla. He was born on Dec. 26, 1947, in Ardmore, Okla., to the late Walton McRavin and Delma Alline Priddy. Alvin was raised in Mannsville and moved to Tracy, Calif., in 1951. He married Patricia Lynn Gomes on Nov. 4, 1972, in Tracy, Calif.,and they moved to Madill in 1976. Alvin worked as a Maintenance Tech for Michelin North America in Ardmore for 20 years. He loved drag racing, flying model airplanes, working on cars, farming and raising cattle. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lynn McRavin, Madill, Okla.; daughter, Sarah Lee (McRavin) Minor, Madill, Okla.; and granddaughter, Anagayle Diamond Minor. Also, his brother, Kenneth McRavin, Kingston, Okla.; sister; Tresa Laeger and husband Les, Rhome, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents and stepdad, Vernon Potts. Visitation will be today (Thursday), at Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla., from 10 a.m.

Katie Mae Page

Katie Mae Page, 92, of Kingston, Okla., passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at the hospital in Madill. She was born on Aug. 5, 1923, in Chattanooga, Okla., to the late Hugh Muchmore and Minnie Looney Muchmore. Katie was raised around Willis, Okla. She married Jimmy Page on Feb. 4, 1940, in Willis and he preceded her in death in 1992. Katie worked at home as a homemaker and later at the Madill Pants Factory and the Dress Factory in Whitesboro, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Willis; and she enjoyed gardening, cooking, working crossword puzzles, quilting and crocheting.

Perry James Rimmer

Perry James Rimmer, 78, of Cardinal Hills, Okla., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. He was born on Sept. 8, 1937, in Richlands, Va., to the late William Rimmer and Grace Shortridge Rimmer. Perry was raised in Richlands where he graduated high school in 1955. He married Annemarie Vogal on Aug. 17, 1960, and she preceded him in death on Feb. 22, 2013. He joined the United States Army, was a Vietnam Veteran and served for 28 years before retiring as a Sergeant Major. Perry attended the Cameron University in Lawton, Okla., where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. He retired after 10 years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber to Cardinal Hills on Lake Texoma where he lived the past 17 years. Perry enjoyed working in his yard and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his son, Robert P.

Lorilla Yvonne Coop

Lorilla Yvonne Coop, 77, passed away on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest with Pastor Helen Waters officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore, Okla. Lorilla was born on Jan. 4, 1939, to Fred Edward Turner and Emma Gertrude (Toombs) Turner in Shay, Okla. Lorilla was a devoted homemaker, always caring for her family and her faith. She will be remembered for her love of her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law, two brothers, and one sister. Lorilla is survived by her sons, Billy Coop and wife, Lynda, of Ardmore, Okla., and Glenn Coop and wife, Caria, of Ft. Worth, Texas; and daughter, Shirley Wright and husband, Dr. Harold Wright, of Kingston, Okla. Eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-greatgrandchildren.

R. F. (Bill) Davis

R. F. (Bill) Davis, 70, of Irving, Texas, departed this life on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at the Baylor Scott White Hospital in Irving, Texas. He was born on Dec. 5, 1945, north of Mannsville in Johnston County, Okla., to the late Emmett Jep Davis and Dessa Mae Robinson Davis. Bill graduated from the Ravia High School in 1963 and he attended Murray State College. Growing up he worked at the family gas station, ice dock and several other businesses his parents owned in Tishomingo. Bill later moved to Dallas where he worked for the Marriott inflight service for 15 years and in international sales for Logging Meat Co. for 20 years. He married Kay Pope on Feb. 11, 1966, in Irving, Texas. Bill was a member of the Beltline Church of Christ in Irving and he enjoyed playing golf, attending and watching NASCAR, and supporting the Dallas Cowboys.

Larry Allen Renegar

Larry Allen Renegar, 71, of Kingston, Okla., passed away Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, at his home in Kingston. He was born on Feb. 24, 1944, in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Clarence Val Jean Renegar and Bessie Louise Greenhaw Renegar. Larry graduated from the Kingston High School and later received Bachelors from the Oklahoma University and a Masters in Psychology from North Texas University. He was a long time Executive Director of Rocmnd Youth Services in North Eastern Oklahoma. Larry married Linda Miller in 1981, in Pawhuska, Okla. In 2007 Larry retired and moved to the Buncombe Creek area and enjoyed reading, studying foreign languages, playing instruments and studying history. He is survived by his wife, Linda Renegar, Kingston, Okla.; his son, Nason Renegar and fiancé Heather Damron, Kingston, Okla.; daughter, Emily Brinlee and fiancé Ray Morin, Kingston, Okla.; and three grandchildren, Felicia Renegar, Destiny Renegar and Lexi Damron.

James Lee Atnip

James Lee Atnip, 43, of Madill, Okla., passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, at the hospital in Plano, Texas. He was born on Feb. 13, 1972, in Ardmore, Okla., to James Oliver Atnip and Pamela Walker Hallmark. James was raised in Marshall County where he attended Madill Schools from kindergarten to 6th grade and moved to Tishomingo, where he graduated in 1990. He attended one year at Murray State College before going to work for the Johnston County Sheriff’s Department as a Reserve Deputy. In 1995 he attended C.L.E.E.T. Academy and started his law enforcement career. James worked for the Madill Police Department, K-9 handler for Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Tishomingo Police Department, Texoma State Park as a Park Ranger and was currently working security for Cimarex. He also worked for an Engineering Firm and a Textile Company in Texas. James married Stacie Elaine Gibbons on May 16, 2009, in Buncombe Creek, Okla.
