Bill G. Arrington

Bill G. Arrington, 82, a plant superintendent, went to be with our Lord Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, in Bridgeport, Texas. Billy was born on April 2, 1933, to John and Jessie (Huebsch) Arrington in Antioch, Marshall County, Okla. He was united in marriage to Shirley Ingram on Jan. 1, 1956, in Madill, Okla. Billy proudly served his country in the Unite States Army from 1953 to 1955. He was a plant superintendent at Liquid Energy Corporation for Warren Petroleum for 14 years. Billy was on the Bridgeport City Council in the 1970s, was a Mason for over 50 years, and a 32nd Scottish Rite. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Shirley Arrington of Bridgeport, Texas; his sons, Mitch Arrington and wife, LeeAnn, of Bridgeport, Texas, Bruce Arrington and wife, Darline, of Bridgeport, Texas; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Emily, Blake, Alyssa, and John Arrington; his sister, Jane Purcell of Lafayette, La.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Dennis Eugene Weldon

Dennis Eugene Weldon, 55, of Kingston, Okla., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at the OU Medical Center in Edmond, Okla. He was born on Feb. 12, 1960, in Tulare, Calif., to Conrad Weldon and Nancy Harness Weldon. Dennis was raised in California and later in Oregon where he graduated high school. He joined the United States Army and served for 12 years, six years in Alaska, and six years in Germany. In 1993, Dennis moved to Oklahoma where he worked a short time at the Madill Pants Factory and later for CM Trailers where he was currently working as a forklift driver. He married Marsha Agee on Dec. 22, 1994, in Vernon, Texas. Dennis was a member of the Victory Life Church in Durant, Okla., and he enjoyed cooking, motorcycles, hot rods, football, baseball and college softball. He loved Saturdays with the family and watching the grandkids play sports.

V. Nadine Bartee Killion

V. Nadine Bartee Killion, 78, of Booneville, Ark., passed from this life on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was born May 9, 1937, in Madill, Okla., to Vernon and Nadia (Hallmark) Bartee. She was a retired registered nurse, member of the First Baptist Church in Booneville, Ark., the Order of The Eastern Star, and was a tribal member of the Choctaw Nation. She is survived by husband, Ronald Gene Killion, of Muskogee, Okla.; one daughter, Rhonda Killion-Reeves, and significant other, Joshua Kubicki, of Booneville, Ark., and Denton, Texas; one granddaughter, Hope Elizabeth Cunningham-Reeves, of Denton, Texas; four sisters, Wanaloy Harris, of Whiteboro, Texas, Evelyn Coleman, of Independence, Mo., Loyce Eldridge and husband, Jerry, of Madill, Okla., and Phyllis Russell and husband, Earl, of Madill, Okla.; three brothers, Royce Bartee and wife, Sharon, of Madill.

Rev. Ivy L. “Berl” Henson

Tuesday night, Jan. 25, 2016, the Gates of Heaven swung open to welcome a good and faithful servant, Ivy Leland Henson. This world’s loss was Heaven’s gain. Rev. Ivy Leland Henson was born Oct. 22, 1925, to the late Theodore Fred Henson and Amelia Willis Hayes Henson, in southern Marshall County at Fobb, Okla. Of Native American heritage, he was very proud to be a member of the Chickasaw Nation. He passed from life to life everlasting surrounded by a loving family, at the age of 90 years, 3 months and 3 days. Brother Ivy and the former Ethel Marie Wallace were married Oct. 20, 1945, at Gainesville, Texas. They celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary this past year. Brother Ivy answered his country’s call, and served honorably in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He also answered the call of his Lord and Savior and became a Pentecostal Holiness Minister. He was ordained as a minister of both Pentecostal Holiness and the Assembly of God faiths. Rev.

Wendyl W. “Winky” McAdoo

Wendyl McAdoo was born July 25, 1943, in Kingston, Okla., to Olen and Naomi (Lee) McAdoo. He went to his eternal home on Feb. 3, 2016, from his Luella, Texas, residence at the age of 72. Winky worked as a longtime employee for TPL and TXU from, 1967 to 1999. Winky started as utilityman to Sr. lineman, then to crew foreman before retiring. After retirement, he worked for Trees Inc. from 2000 to 2014, where he served as the forestry coordinator. Winky married the love of his life, Bobbie Bruton, on Nov. 14, 1981, in Sherman, Texas. Winky had an unconditional love for his family and the many memories he shared with each of them. He enjoyed watching Westerns, hunting, fishing, trapping, collecting knives and all things outdoors. Winky was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill and Calvin McAdoo; brother-in-law, Raymond Bruton; father-in-law, Charles “Chuck” Bruton; and nephew, “Hopper” Voyles.
