Virgie White Plaque to be Placed Inside Community Building

After months of discussion, the Kingston Town Council made the decision to place the Virgie White Plaque, previously displayed on the outside of the Kingston Youth and Civic Center Building, inside the Senior Citizen’s Community Building. The decision was made at the Council’s regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 10.

PVD Settlement Agreement to be Announced

The State Lands Commission is doing an end run around the courts to implement the “Pointe Vista Settlement Agreement. Documents were filed Monday in Marshall County to process an agreement announced by Governor Fallin eight months ago. The commission has yet to submit the agreement for court approval.
